Middle School Trips

March 28th, 2024

Our middle schoolers recently embarked on two amazing trips! Our 8th-grade class went on an unforgettable journey to the heart of American history in Washington D.C., while the rest of our Middle School peers ventured into the depths of science exploration at Catalina Island. Both experiences were rich with discovery, learning, and excitement.

In Washington D.C., their days were filled with awe-inspiring visits to iconic landmarks such as the Capitol, the White House, and the Smithsonian museums. Walking in the footsteps of our nation's founders, they gained a deeper understanding of American democracy and the significance of historical events that shaped our country. From the powerful monuments honoring heroes of the past to engaging discussions with knowledgeable guides, every moment was a chance to absorb the spirit of our nation's capital.

Meanwhile, their classmates at Catalina Island were immersed in a different kind of adventure, surrounded by the wonders of nature and the thrill of scientific exploration. Through hands-on experiments, hikes through the island's diverse ecosystems, and marine biology studies along the shoreline, they delved into the intricate workings of the natural world. From tide pools teeming with life to nighttime stargazing sessions under the clear island skies, Catalina Island offered a playground for curiosity and discovery.
