West Valley Christian School was founded in 1978 by West Valley Christian Church, a non-denominational Christian church committed to being an "Oasis in the Wilderness." As one of its strongest ministries, WVCS has been successful in educating thousands of students, preschool through 8th grade, academically as well as morally and spiritually. Students from diverse ethnic, religious, and economic backgrounds are all welcome and enjoy a wide range of challenging and highly active academic and extra-curricular programs.

West Valley Christian School holds dual accreditation with WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International).
