About Us

Photojournalism is an elective by Ms. Majdi where students not only take photos, but also write about those images. The class kicked off by learning different elements of photo taking and telling stories through the photos they take. Ever since, students have continued to write articles and capture memories of various experiences throughout the WVCS campus. All of the articles and photos taken by the class can be found throughout West Valley’s social media and in the newsletter. At the moment, all the photojournalists in the class are collecting content to put into the yearbook of this school year. So, throughout the year, photojournalism will always make the moments last, both on words and in photos.
