About Us

First grade has been working on becoming independent readers and writers! Students have learned how to check for understanding, pick good fit books, underline words to check for spelling, coach their reading partners and other strategies to help them be successful readers and writers. They've also been working on building stamina and have reached 10 minutes of independent work!
