Middle School STEM is an enrichment class taught by Mr. Lenhert. Learning science, technology, engineering, and math, students will work together in groups to accomplish a challenge given using a restricted list of materials. Many challenges that have been overcome include: making a marshmallow catapult, making ancient irrigation systems, or a bridge that can sustain an earthquake. Along with this, students get to learn robotics with a cool toy called “Cubelets” (a robot that contains a think, act, and sense cube, each playing their own part in a larger building to complete their own tasks). Whether overcoming challenges or building structures, there is never a dull moment in STEM.
