On January 20, ASB hosted an event for 5th grade. We split the kids up into 3 tribes, to show them how tribes work in middle school. The three tribe names were the Yellow Jackets, the Blue Arrows, and the Green Emeralds. Then we had different games worth different points. The games played were: tug of war, 9 square, tail tag, a 3 legged race, and an arm wrestle tournament. The Yellow Jackets had the most points in the end and won! It was lots of fun and a great way to introduce them to some of the teachers they will have next year in 6th grade!
