Biography

This is Mrs. Chavez's 9th year at WVCS. Prior to coming here she worked for many years at the public school and at Heart of the Valley Christian School. She has taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade classes and was also the drama teacher. Mrs Chavez went to the University of Minnesota and received her BA in Liberal Studies and a teaching credential at California State University Northridge. She has 4 children and her husband is a worship pastor. Her desire is to make learning fun and hands on to reach all  learners.
